About the Author

Sherri Heider Wright is a wife and mother, a teacher, a musician, a game designer, and an author. She earned an MS in Educational Technology Leadership and helped design Mattel Interactive (The Learning Company/Broderbund) games--Oregon Trail, Where in the World is Carmen SanDiego, ClueFinders, Arthur and others. She also worked for LeapFrog producing over 60 ELL and interactive books. She worked with Learning Games Network in Massachusetts assisting teachers in China with technology to supplement their English curriculum.

As an elementary school teacher, she also organized and led her site’s Peacemakers, News Club, BizClub, and students participating in early morning chorus. She loves finding creative ways to help students of all ages to be curious and learn.
